We’re incredibly excited to share that Eliana Curated has been named one of 36 finalists for the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s Best in Business Awards!

For us, this recognition feels especially meaningful because just over a year ago, we were the new business on the block.

Finding Our Home in Old Town Alexandria

In May 2025, we opened the doors to our Eliana Curated flagship boutique at 1003 King Street in Old Town Alexandria.

Opening a permanent storefront was a huge milestone for our family-owned jewelry brand. What began as a small pop-up business had officially found a home, and we couldn’t have imagined a better community in which to grow.

Since opening, our boutique has become so much more than a place to shop jewelry. It has given us the opportunity to meet our neighbors, build relationships with fellow small-business owners, collaborate with other local organizations, and become a true part of the Alexandria community.

That sense of community is one of the things we have come to love most about doing business here.

Growing Beyond Our Four Walls

While our King Street boutique is our home base, some of our favorite moments over the past year have happened outside of the store.

We’ve had the opportunity to meet thousands of customers through local events and pop-ups throughout the region—from events at John Carlyle Square Park to weekends in Occoquan and other markets and community events across Northern Virginia and the D.C. area.

Every pop-up has introduced us to new customers, fellow entrepreneurs, local organizations, and people who later walk through the doors of our Old Town store and say, “I remember you from that market!”

Those moments are a reminder of why small businesses and local events matter. They create connections that extend far beyond a single transaction.

Building a Business—and a Community

One of the greatest surprises of opening our Alexandria boutique has been discovering just how supportive the local small-business community is.

Over the past year, we’ve formed friendships with neighboring business owners, participated in community events, supported local organizations, welcomed visitors from around the country, and watched first-time shoppers become regular customers and friends of the brand.

As Eliana Curated continues to grow, maintaining that sense of connection remains incredibly important to us.

We may be expanding to new markets and reaching customers beyond Alexandria, but 1003 King Street is home.

A Best in Business Award Finalist for Alexandria

Being selected as one of just 36 finalists for the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce’s Best in Business Awards is an incredible honor—and one that feels particularly special at this stage in our story.

We’re grateful to the Chamber for recognizing the businesses and organizations helping make Alexandria such a vibrant place to live, work, shop, and visit.

Most of all, we’re grateful to our customers, our team, our fellow small-business owners, and the Alexandria community for welcoming Eliana Curated with open arms.

From opening our doors in May 2025 to receiving this recognition a little more than a year later, it has been an unforgettable chapter.

And we’re just getting started!
